CatGenie Machine Maintenance Cartridge
The CatGenie Machine Maintenance Cartridge effectively removes lime and grime that builds up in hard to reach places. We recommend using the Machine Maintenance every 6-12 weeks to remove potential blockages and keep the unit running efficiently. The Machine Maintenance Cartridge fits into the CatGenie like a regular SaniSolution cartridge and runs a similar cleaning cycle. Each cartridge lasts 4 cleans (average one year use).
Like all appliances, we recommend taking apart the CatGenie and manually cleaning the unit to prevent/remove any blockages. Using the Machine Maintenance Cartridge regularly will ensure that the 6 monthly clean is SUPER easy!
Instructions:
- Deactivate the CatGenie's Auto Start/Cat Activation Setting
- Run a regular cycle with the SaniSolution Cartridge to remove waste and to check that your CatGenie works.
- Remove the SaniSolution Cartridge from the unit
- Insert the Machine Maintenance Cartridge into the unit
- Press and Release the Start button. The unit will run until clean; times may vary.
- When complete, replace the SanSolution Cartridge.
- Reprogram your CatGenie to Auto Start or Cat Activation
